Dr Tran Nguyen graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry/Masters of Dentistry degree from La Trobe University. She developed a passion for helping anxious patients overcome their fears after treating a large number of patients from different backgrounds across rural areas in Victoria. It brings her a great sense of fulfilment to see even simple dentistry make such a difference in patients’ confidence and quality of life. She is passionate in educating patients in taking care of their teeth to prevent disease and maintain optimum oral health.
Dr Tran enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially restorative dentistry including fillings and crowns, as well as oral surgery including extractions in order to help patients have the most stress-free experience possible.
Dr Tran is a member of the Australian Dental Association and a recipient of the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch Prize in 2017. She is committed to continuing professional development to keep her knowledge and skills up-to-date. Dr Tran is fluent in Vietnamese in addition to her native English.
In her spare time, Dr Tran enjoys going to the gym, travelling and spending time with her family. She enjoys watching AFL and is a fan of the Hawthorn Football Club.
