Is it true that teeth whitening is painful?

Whitening is sometimes associated with pain, but it doesn’t really cause pain, some people have naturally sensitive teeth that you might feel a little bit of a zapping here and there, but that’s for people with really, really sensitive teeth.

We do have things that we use to minimize the pain. For example, we have the Pro Relief ointment that we use at the end of the treatment and that usually helps a lot with any sort of discomfort. So part of the procedure we do use a barrier to cover the gums so that they don’t get irritated in the process before and after.

If the teeth are really, really sensitive, maybe the take-home option might be a better alternative for you.
